The Espresso method of brewing coffee was invented during the late 1901 by Luigi Bezzera in Milan Italy. For over a century, the optimal coffee extraction in both science and art, has been perfected. • 7gm of coffee • evenly ground to a fine granularity • compress coffee with 20lb of force in a brewing portafilter • hot water of between 90C – 94C • pressure of between 9BAR – 10BAR • extraction time of 25sec – 30sec • extraction volume of 30ml. To put all these technicalities into simple method, Meseta has developed the MCS system to do all the above with a push of a button for the commercial coffee market.
